In 2000 a new building was completed for the library with connections and facilities more functional.

The background literature is computerized and includes books, maps, digital documents and periodicals from about 1950 to the present. Is part of the Library Network of the CSIC (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas) whose virtual library is public consultation. Are accounted for more than four thousand books and journal collection contains approximately three hundred titles of which a quarter are current subscriptions.

Public Library is a restricted character, its collections and services are targeted at students of second cycle, doctoral students, researchers and university faculty. In general, specialists in the subject area of Agricultural Sciences and the like.
